Original amount of time planned for family room remodel: 10 days
Time spent waiting for the painters (us) to finish: 20 days and counting
Time spent with old carpet ripped up while trying to install new tile by the back door: 5 days
Time spent waiting for the new carpet: 11 days and counting
Time with furniture either in total disarray or now occupying several other rooms in the house that we can't use: 20 days and counting
Time when we can finally walk through the house again without stubbing a toe on construction equipment, actually use the living room, and get to the front door without fighting through a furniture/clutter jungle: can't come soon enough!
