Long winters can be difficult. Yet no matter the cold, a brave bit of green inevitably finds enough courage to press through the snow in search of the sun. I'm looking forward to spring...
I'm always thankful for spring, but if we can't have it yet it's good to get up in the mountains above all the yuck and stand in the sun and do some sleding. :0)
My grandmother, Esther, once told me her aged and wrinkled hands were the product of a lifetime of hard work and innocence. With a smile on her face and a song in her heart, she chose to find joy in each moment.

Tamara, I'm getting excited just for February to begin. Getting through January is a milestone...
Standing in the sun is always refreshing...we usually find a spot of it in the mountains when we're snowmobiling--I love to stop and soak it up!
